Communicating with elected officials is an important way to make your PTA's voice heard. PTA wants decisionmakers to view our members as a useful and knowledgeable resource when it comes to matters concerning the well-being of children.


Build relationships with elected officials by:


  • Sending letters and email

  • Connecting on phone call

  • In-person meetings in a legislators' office

  • Hosting school visits
