Be a presenter during our meetings in 2027! We need the top thought leaders and mission partners in education, leadership development, advocacy, health and safety, and membership growth to share your knowledge and experience.

The call for session presenters for the 2027 National PTA Convention in Grapevine, Texas, June 17-19, is now open and YOU are invited to share your ideas and experiences as a presenter!

We are looking for presenters who can inspire, educate and share proven methods and helpful tips that will help our PTA leaders and members make a lasting impact in their communities. The deadline to submit a session proposal is Sept. 4 at 5:00 p.m. ET.

All applicants will be notified of the status of their proposal in November 2026.

As part of this call for proposals, National PTA is committed to creating event programming that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve. We especially encourage submissions from individuals who have not previously presented at a National PTA event and from presenters representing historically underrepresented communities and perspectives. Our attendees benefit from a wide range of voices, lived experiences and innovative approaches, and we appreciate your willingness to contribute to an engaging and inclusive learning experience.

Present at National PTA’s 2027 Legislative Conference

The call for session proposals is now open for National PTA's 2027 Legislative Conference (LegCon), held March 1-3 in Arlington, Va!

Each year, LegCon brings together hundreds of advocates from across the country to grow their advocacy skills and take action on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. In 2027, we anticipate nearly 400 state and local PTA leaders to come together for LegCon and advocate on behalf of local school communities and demonstrate the needs of children and families throughout their state to federal elected officials.

Sessions and training will prepare advocates for Hill Day, provide insights on priority issues for the 120th Congress and offer practical next steps to support ongoing advocacy efforts at home. Please view an overview of session types we plan to offer at LegCon.

Please note that if you are selected to be a presenter, you will be expected to be onsite for at least the day of your presentation and you will need to pay your own way for travel. If you are selected as a presenter and plan to attend the entirety of LegCon (PTA leader, other general attendee) you will be guaranteed the early bird registration rate, which is a $30 discount from regular registration.

Present at National PTA’s 2027 Convention

The call for session proposals for the 2027 National PTA Convention, held June 17-19 in Grapevine, Texas, is now open!

We invite passionate leaders, educators, parents, students, advocates and community partners to share their knowledge, experiences and innovative ideas as presenters. We are looking for practical, interactive sessions that provide attendees with actionable strategies, innovative ideas and resources they can immediately apply within their PTAs and communities. Please view an overview of session types we plan to offer at Convention.

While we have identified several priority topic areas below, we welcome proposals on any topic that aligns with National PTA's mission and supports the growth, effectiveness and impact of PTA leaders.

All proposals will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on their relevance, quality, participant engagement strategies and potential to inspire and equip PTA leaders to strengthen their associations and better serve children, families and communities.

If your proposal is selected, you will receive a discounted registration rate. Please note that presenters are responsible for their own travel, lodging, registration and other associated expenses.
