Every day, PTAs across the country go above and beyond to advocate for children. Their efforts have made real, tangible improvements in their school communities. We will showcase these amazing efforts at the 2023 Virtual Legislative Conference and use their work to inspire change across the nation.
Submit your state, regional and/or local PTA to conduct an Advocacy Spotlight Workshop, where they will share how your PTA advocated for kids on issues that impact their education and well-being. Workshops should include strategies and tactics that other PTAs could emulate and should focus on issues consistent National PTA’s position statements and resolutions with preference given to presentations that focus on advocating for school safety and preparedness, family engagement, welcoming and supportive schools, or digital safety and online learning.
All Spotlights will be pre-recorded and shown at our Virtual Legislative Conference March 7-8, 2023. Don't miss this opportunity for your state, regional or local PTAs to share stories of an issue that inspired you to take action for kids!
Deadline: Submit your proposal by 11:59 p.m. EST, Nov. 30, 2022.
