Candidate Narrative

PTA changes lives. I’ve seen it in communities across the country, and I’ve lived it in my own journey. I’ve seen what happens when families feel supported, leaders feel confident, and voices come together to make a difference.

Through my service at the local, state, and national levels, including as an officer on the National PTA Board of Directors, I’ve worked alongside leaders like you by listening, learning, and understanding the experiences we face every day.

As a lifelong servant leader, I show up grounded, committed, and focused on the work that matters most. I believe deeply in the power of our collective voice and in our responsibility to continue growing, adapting, and strengthening support for our leaders and members.

I am an inclusive leader who believes in complete representation grounded in qualifications and the ability to lead effectively. Our strength comes from diverse perspectives, and our success depends on ensuring leaders are prepared, supported, and set up to succeed.

As families and schools face increasing challenges, PTA must remain a trusted and steady advocate. My vision is to strengthen leadership, deepen engagement, and clearly demonstrate the value of advocacy. We must make it easier to step into leadership, support retention through meaningful experiences, and ensure our messaging reflects who we are today and where we are going.

PTA has enriched my life, and that is why this work matters so deeply to me. I bring the experience, insight, and commitment to lead with focus and deliver results.

Together, we will lead with purpose, strengthen our impact, and ensure every member feels heard, valued, and supported. I respectfully ask for your vote as your next President-Elect.
