Candidate Narrative

As I seek a second term on the National PTA Board of Directors, I bring years of dedicated service and leadership. My experience as an Entrepreneur, Nonprofit Executive, and Martial Artist has equipped me with the perseverance and motivation needed to help our association meet the ever-changing needs of today’s families.

PTA has consistently opened doors for me to grow as a leader. I have committed years to this organization because I believe in its relevance and the positive impact it has on our communities. Strong leadership is essential during times of uncertainty. We must be bold while valuing every member. Innovation must go hand in hand with honoring our traditions. As Florida PTA President, I championed inclusivity, ensuring all families felt welcome. One of my proudest accomplishments was creating the Healthy Children, Healthy Future platform, moving Florida PTA from advocacy to action.

Currently serving as Chair of the 2024 and 2025 National PTA Convention, I have had the privilege of leading efforts to bring together diverse voices and foster collaboration, further preparing me to navigate the challenges facing our schools and communities. My past roles in PTA have provided invaluable experience, shaping me into the leader I am today.

Balancing work, family, and PTA responsibilities has strengthened my belief that great leaders know when to lead and when to listen. I am committed to stepping through this door of opportunity once again, dedicated to advancing PTA’s mission and making a meaningful impact for all families.
