National PTA Convention

Annual Meeting Business

During Convention, members of the voting body will have the opportunity to participate in elections and in the debates and voting on National PTA business. The proposed 2026 Convention Standing Rules to be adopted by members of the voting body during Convention can be reviewed here.

Who Can Vote

All voting for the National PTA 2026 Annual Convention will be during the in-person Convention. If you are not a member of National PTA governance as defined in the National PTA Bylaws Article XII, in order to be eligible to vote during convention business and elections, a state PTA must select you as a voting delegate.

You must fully complete your registration (including full payment) by midnight (PDT), May 29 to be considered for voting status. If you have questions about becoming a voting delegate, contact a state PTA. You will be notified on or before June 12, if you have been selected by a state PTA as a voting delegate. Only in-person attendees of the 2026 Annual Convention can be credentialed and will be eligible to vote.
