Ninah Jackson currently serves as a youth member on the National PTA board of directors and as chair of the National PTA youth engagement committee. She is a student at Bucknell University located in Lewisburg, Penn., on a full-tuition leadership scholarship as a member of the Posse Foundation. Originally from Prince George’s County, Md., Jackson graduated with science and technology honors from Oxon Hill High School.
During her time in high school, Jackson was a member of her school, county and state Student Government Associations; president of the National Honor Society; and represented 130,000+ students as an elected member of the Prince George’s County Board of Education—one of the largest and most diverse school districts in the country. At Bucknell, she is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
Outside of her academic achievements and PTA commitments, Jackson currently serves as the Organizing Coordinator for Student Voice—a youth-led national non-profit that equips K-12 students from across the country to advocate for student-driven solutions to educational inequity. She is also the first-year representative for Bucknell’s Black Student Union and an at-large member of Bucknell’s Student Government Senate Finance Committee.
