Madeleine Plumey-CruzMadeleine “Mady” Plumey-Cruz serves as a Member At-Large on the National PTA Board of Directors. She has been involved with PTA at the local, county, state and national levels, managing projects and facilitating workshops for National PTA, Florida PTA Leadership Convention and more.

Mady has dedicated her service to helping families and their communities through PTA committees such as Diversity Equity & Inclusion, Family Engagement, Hispanic/Latino Outreach and Student Engagement. She received the Presidential award from Florida PTA and the Orange County Council of PTAs for her dedication to all children and was awarded other honorable distinctions by the Orange County Public School Board.

Originally from New York, Mady has made Florida home for over 20 years, where her children all attended public school and college. She is a proud immigrant’s daughter, Hispanic, military and ex-law enforcement wife, mom and “wela” to all her grandbabies.

Professionally, Ms. Plumey-Cruz is in operations management and is a business consultant. She will continue to serve our families for years to come as she believes we cultivate future leaders with hope, support and love.
