Helena Miller serves on National PTA's Board of Directors and is a member of National PTA's Governance and Volunteer Development Committees. Originally from Sweden, Miller has proudly called Rock Hill, S.C. home since 2003. She has been married to David since 2000, and together they have three children.
Miller is a passionate community leader who previously served as South Carolina state PTA president, chair of the Rock Hill School Board, and immediate past president of the Palmetto Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Throughout her years of service in her community, Miller has received numerous accolades and served on several nonprofit boards.
She has been involved in PTA since her oldest child entered kindergarten and has held various positions within the organization, including treasurer and president at the local and district levels before advancing to her current national role. Scouting is part of her DNA, as she is a third-generation scouter who started her scouting journey as a first grader in the co-ed Swedish Scouts and married an Eagle Scout.
