Frances Frost is a wife, mother, author, and advocate for equitable opportunities for learning for all children. Through various roles and opportunities at the local, county, state and national PTA levels, Frances has developed her knowledge and skills in education policy and advocacy. She focuses on efforts to identify and address barriers to student success and parent engagement through advocacy, collaborations in the community and school district, and PTA programs, with an emphasis on equity for all children.
Frances has served as a local President, Board member and President of Montgomery County (MD) Council of PTAs (MCCPTA). She is currently a local unit President (high school) and Board member of MCCPTA and Maryland PTA.
MCCPTA awarded Frances a Lifetime Achievement Award and Honorary Lifetime Membership in Maryland PTA in 2012 and National PTA in 2017. She has proudly been a public school parent and card-carrying member of PTA since 2006.
