Tina Hartman currently serves on the National PTA Board of Directors and as chair of the National PTA Bylaws Committee. Her previous service at the national level includes a position on the Nominating & Leadership Development Committee in 2011-2014 and served as chair in 2013-2014.
Hartman is an Indiana PTA past president. Her service at the state level also includes positions such as member services chair, state & local relations chair and nominating committee chair. She has served on Indiana PTA’s budget & office, executive, bylaws & procedures, resolutions and convention committees. Hartman continues to serve Indiana PTA as unit & leadership development chair and convention committee chair. She also performs field service work with nearly 20 local units as a resource to meet their needs and assist them in maintaining good standing status.
Her local level PTA service includes positions such as president, treasurer and committee chair with experience at Elementary, middle, high school and council levels. She served as Fort Wayne Area Council PTA president from 2014-2016.
Outside of PTA, Hartman’s other volunteer activities have included Girl Scouts, SCAN (Stop Child Abuse and Neglect), Allen County Christmas Bureau, and United Way. She also served as an ex-officio member of the Indiana Association of School Principals from 2009-2011.
Hartman currently resides in Anderson, Ind. where she works as an office manager for Go Electric, Inc. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration in human resource management. She has three children and three grandchildren.
