Alison Turner works with clients at Business | Creative | Education Consulting. Her leadership experience in multiple states, communities, and two countries includes past service at National PTA on the Strategic Planning and Resolutions committees. Turner currently serves on the National PTA Board of Directors and Mission Engagement committee.
At the state level, Turner currently serves a second term as Nevada PTA Federal Legislation Chair, on the Advocacy committee, and works at the council level to mentor local PTAs in diverse communities. A past president of Nevada PTA, her multiple language skills and dedicated advocacy for families in need help bridge communications gaps to engage families, schools, and communities for all children.
Outside of PTA work, Turner is dedicated to literacy for children and adults, continuing to explore ways to get more books in the hands of every child. She is an avid reader, focused on learning, teaching, and decision-making. Turner is also a knitwear designer and instructor.
Turner and her husband Ralph live in Las Vegas, Nevada, and have two children: Carolyn, a government relations coordinator, and Ian, attending university. All, however, acknowledge that their dog Kody is in charge!
