Kim Savery Hunt
As a single mother of three children who ages range from 17 down to 12, Kim Savery Hunt has long been active with her local schools and PTAs. From serving as president of the Village PTA in Wareham, Massachusetts, to acting on the Strategic Planning Committee and Strategic Plan Implementation Group (Parent Involvement, Communication and Technology) for Plymouth Public Schools, Kim Savery Hunt has made involvement in education a way of life.
In addition to her duties on the National PTA Board of Directors, she also serves on National PTA’s Resource and Development Committee. She is a past president of Massachusetts PTA, as well as past chair of the state PTA’s Resource Development, Benefits Committee, as well as a member of its Legislative Committee. She is the immediate past president of the Cranberry PTA, a PTA unit for residents of Massachusetts who do not belong to a local PTA but wish to support the mission and goals of PTA, and past membership chair of the Nathaniel Morton PTA, Plymouth, Massachusetts.
Kim is also currently serving a three-year term as an elected member of the school board for Plymouth Public Schools.
Kim Savery Hunt has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. She works as a business development manager for Edmentum, a company designed to help educators accelerate student achievement.
