    Reflections Awards & Celebration!

Each year, hundreds of PTAs recognize thousands of students across the country and in American schools overseas for their participation and achievement in the arts. In addition to local, regional, and state PTA recognition, National PTA awards include:

    • Outstanding Interpretation Awards: Presented to one student in each arts category and the Special Artist Division for best theme interpretation. Recipients receive $800, a gold medal, and an award of $200 for their PTA or PTSA. Awardees are recognized at the National PTA Annual Convention and Exhibition, and their artwork is displayed at an exhibit held at the U.S. Department of Education in Washington, DC.
    • Awards of Excellence: Presented to the top three scores for each arts category in each Division. Recipients receive $200, a bronze medal, and are mentioned in the National PTA’s Awards Ceremony Program. Awardees' artwork is displayed at the U.S. Department of Education exhibit in Washington, DC.
    • Awards of Merit: Presented to the next five highest scores for each arts category in each division. Recipients receive a certificate and medal.
