Celebrate Your Success

To celebrate your success, look to public relations resources in your school community.

Certification of Excellence

Upon review of your school's application, assessment, and supporting documentation, a determination will be made. If you receive the excellence distinction, National PTA will send the following to the attention of the principal at your school:

Letter of congratulations
Certificate proclaiming your certification of excellence
Dated seal to use on your school's website and stationery
Sample press release to promote your school's certification of excellence
Information on how your school can purchase promotional items from National PTA's website.

Your school community will be recognized on National PTA's website area, Certification of Excellence Schools, in Our Children magazine, and in other National PTA communications.

We would like to encourage your school to apply for the Phoebe Apperson Hearst-National PTA Excellence in Education Partnership Award. This award recognizes a local PTA whose collaborative efforts with parents, families, educators, and community members promote parent/family involvement with ongoing programs that encourage student success.

Recognition of Commitment

Thank you for your efforts in promoting parent involvement and your support of the national standards. Following review of your school's application and assessment, a determination will be made. If your school receives this distinction, National PTA will send a letter to the principal of your school in recognition of your commitment to the national standards and support of parent involvement.

Your school community will be recognized on National PTA's website area, Recognition of Commitment Schools, in Our Children magazine, and in other National PTA communications. Good luck. We encourage you to re-take the assessment and apply for certification.

Applications are reviewed throughout the year.

Schools will be notified of their status within four to six weeks of applying.
