There are four ways to register:

    1. Online (by credit card)—Quick, easy, secure! Register online today! It’s quick, easy, and secure. Online registration is open March 3 through May 23, 2008. Use the workshop descriptions and numbers for your online registration form.
    2. Fax (by credit card). Complete the registration form (online here) and fax it by May 23, 2008, to National PTA Registration Services, Attn: Cathy Rickert, (732) 380-3642.
    3. Mail (by check, money order, or credit card). Complete the registration form(s) (online here) and mail, postmarked by May 23, 2008, along with payment to National PTA Registration Services, Attn: Cathy Rickert, 4700 W. Lake Avenue, Glenview, IL 60025-1468.

 Make Checks and Money Orders payable to: National PTA. There will be a $25 fee for all returned checks.

When you attend national convention, you’re investing in your PTA.
Register today to attend the 112th Annual PTA National Convention and Exhibition—it’s one of the best ways to build skills and boost your success at work, at home, and at school. And, convention registration fees and travel costs are legitimate expenses that can be included in your PTA budget. Many PTAs budget to attend convention every year. While other organizations charge thousands of dollars for a 3-day conference like ours, we hold registration costs down to allow as many PTA leaders as possible to attend. This is just one way PTA invests in its members and volunteer leaders. In fact, by seeking sponsors and outside funding to defray the costs of convention, we can keep advance registration fees as low as $175 per member (and as low as $155 if you register online).

    1. On-site (after May 23, 2008). On-site registration begins Friday, June 20, at 8:00 a.m. at the Town and Country Resort. When registering on-site, members must show their PTA membership ID card to be eligible for the member registration rate. Individuals who do not have a PTA membership card must pay the nonmember rate. If you do not have a PTA membership card, please contact your local PTA president or state PTA office.

Registration Confirmation
A complete confirmation packet for your convention registration will be sent to you. Confirmation packets will begin being mailed to advance registrants in mid-May. All those pre-registering for the convention by May 23, 2008, should receive their confirmation packets no later than June 13, 2008. Your confirmation packet will include your registration receipt, name badge, workshop tickets, and all extra tickets pre-purchased on your registration form. You must bring this confirmation packet with you to the convention. 

Cancellation Policy for Individual Registrants
If you register in advance and find you cannot attend the convention, you may cancel your registration and request a refund, less a $25 cancellation fee for each paid registration cancelled. You must request your cancellation and refund in writing, and it must be postmarked no later than July 23, 2008 (or 30 days after the close of the 2008 convention), and sent to PTA National Headquarters, Attn: Accounting, 541 N. Fairbanks Court, Suite 1300, Chicago, IL 60611-3396. Or, fax the cancellation/refund request to PTA National Headquarters, Attn: Accounting, (312) 494-6080 by July 23, 2008. You will be given a refund within 30 days of receipt of written cancellation request.

Cancellation Policy for Group Registrants
When cancelling a registrant who received a group registration rate, the refund will be equal to the cost of the lowest registrant fee paid out of the group (regardless of who cancels), plus any tickets purchased, less the $25 cancellation fee. You must request your cancellation and refund in writing, and it must be postmarked no later than July 23, 2008 (or 30 days after the close of the 2008 convention), and sent to PTA National Headquarters, Attn: Accounting, 541 N. Fairbanks Court, Suite 1300, Chicago, IL 60611-3396. Or, fax the cancellation/refund request to PTA National Headquarters, Attn: Accounting, (312) 494-6080 by July 23, 2008. You will be given a refund within 30 days of receipt of written cancellation request.

Please Note: PTA no longer accepts or allows transfer of a registration to another person.
