PTA Key Messages
The PTA Key Message platform was created in August 2007 by the 2007-2009 PTA national officers, CEO and staff with additional input from the PTA National Board of Directors. The goal is for PTA spokespeople and supporters to use this platform as a guide in delivering consistent, compelling, and credible messages about the value of PTA.
There are three main elements of the platform: the Core Message, three Sub-messages and Proof

Core Message
The Core Message is the primary message and the most essential message that should be delivered in any situation involving PTA.
Three Sub-messages
The Sub-messages support the Core and can be used individually or all together with the Core, depending on the audience and the situation.
The Proof Points
The Proof Points prove the Sub-messages and the Core. These are very specific and can change as new resources, programs, activities, and initiatives are added or eliminated to accomplish the organization’s goals and objectives. Proof Points should be enhanced with the speaker’s personal experiences, as needed.
