A recent high school graduate, Jude Bruno is proving that it’s never too early to work for worthwhile causes. As the past student body president at Law Enforcement Officers’ Memorial High School and the state president for the Florida Public Service Association, Bruno has been an active leader in his town and statewide in Florida.
He has served as the youth representative for Miami-Dade County Commission District two, a student ambassador with the Florida Anti-Defamation League and a Student Services Advisory Committee member for the Miami-Dade County Public Schools District. Previously, he was a senator with Miami-Dade County District Student Government Association and a political youth advisor for Florida House District 108.
But it doesn’t stop there. Bruno has also held leadership roles with PTA. He has served as student representative with Law Enforcement Officers’ Memorial High School PTSA and chair of the Student Involvement Committee for Miami-Dade County Council of PTA/PTSA. Before that, he served as student membership chair and legislation chair for Law Enforcement Officers’ Memorial High School PTSA.
For his work, Bruno was awarded the 2010 LEOMHS Community Service Award and was a two-time finalist for United Way Outstanding Youth Award.
