What is the NLDC

The Nominating and Leadership Development Committee (NLDC) is an elected committee of seven members who are charged with screening and evaluating individuals and nominating candidates for such National PTA leadership positions as president-elect, secretary-treasurer, member representatives to the Board of Directors and the NLDC committee.

How Does the NLDC Find Candidates?

The NLDC is open to receiving applications from interested candidates and welcomes recommendations from PTA’s membership. As part of its role, members of the NLDC attend conferences, trainings and meetings at the national and state levels to take suggestions and observe PTA members in action.

Who Serves on the NLDC?
