Esther Parker

Esther Parker has worked for the benefit of every child in her professional career and PTA involvement. Parker's professional experience includes: director of School Age Child Care Program, part of Anne Arundel County Parks and Recreation; training consultant for preschool and childcare agencies; and program director for Democratic Diversity Leadership Council.
For National PTA, Parker currently works as the chair of the Field Service Committee, and as a mentor for the District of Columbia. She has previously worked as the chair of the Nominating, Leadership and Development Committee, as well as President of the Maryland state PTA. On the local PTA level, she has served as President of Wye Oak, Four Seasons Elementary, and Crofton Middle School, all located in the state of Maryland. She has also served as president of the Anne Arundel County Council.
Parker's community service includes work for the Anne Arundel Community College Teach Institute Advisory Board, Maryland School Age Alliance, and the Christian Education Board.
