Three Ways to Join

Join National PTA.  This membership will give you the opportunity to directly support the work of the national organization. You will be informed of national programs and resources, updated on our advocacy and legislative efforts, and receive national PTA publications, including Our Children magazine. You can also join by completing a paper membership application.

Join a local unit. There are over 25,000 PTA units across the country, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Europe, and Puerto Rico. Use the Find a PTA  feature to locate PTAs in your area, then contact the school or PTA president, to join. You can also contact your State PTA  to find a local unit near you.

Start a Unit.  If you are a parent, school employee, or maybe a concerned citizen in an area without a PTA, starting a new unit is easy to do. Whether there is no parent group activity at your school now, or your existing parent group wants to realize all the benefits of PTA membership, please contact National PTA® at info@pta.org or (800) 307-4PTA (4782) and we will help you get started.
