Stand Up for Kids: Stop Bullying Now

National PTA and Investigation Discovery are teaming up to keep schools safe by encouraging students, parents and families to stand up against school violence. Together in 2009, PTA and Investigation Discovery led an important safety initiative called “Stand Up for Kids: National Safe Schools Week.” The goal of the week was to raise awareness of effective ways to keep children safe in the classroom, on the playground and on the computer.

The effort continues in 2010 with PTA and Investigation Discovery sharing tools and resources for families, parents and PTAs to stop bullying in their communities.
