Gina Armor |
 Gina Armor is an active PTA member with children in elementary, middle, and high school. She was elected in June 2009 as a member representative to the National PTA Board of Directors, and chairs the National PTA Resolutions Committee.
Armor has held leadership and committee positions on the local, state, and national levels of PTA. She is a currently member of the Oklahoma PTA Board of Directors. She was instrumental in implementing many PTA programs at her children’s schools, including: the Reflections Program, Start the Art Week, Healthy Lifestyles, and Take Your Family to School Week. In addition to Armor’s PTA efforts, she is dedicated to child advocacy through community service and is a member of the Oklahoma Immunization Advisory Board. She chaired the Assistance League of Norman Bears for Children Program and was the Publicity Chairman and Student Art Chairman for the ALN May Fair. Armor served as a committee member for Safe Routes to School Oklahoma and was Chairman of the Norman Public Schools 2007 Vote for Kids Campaign. Armor is a member of the Norman Citizens Advisory Council. She served as Housing Corporation President for Psi Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega at the University of Oklahoma. Armor has received a number of awards and recognition in her efforts to advocate for children. Armor resides in Norman, Oklahoma with her husband Clark and their three children. |
