Teresa Williams

Teresa WilliamsTeresa Williams was elected as National PTA Secretary-Treasurer at the 2009 PTA National Convention in Fort Lauderdale.  Hailing from Westminster, Colorado, Williams was previously a member of the PTA's National Council of States, the National PTA Board of Directors, and the following National PTA committees: Finance, Youth Involvement, Strategic Planning Convention General Arrangements and Reflections.  She has honorary life memberships in National PTA and Colorado PTA.

In addition to PTA, Teresa has been involved in her community serving on the YMCA Board of Directors, the Governors Read to Achieve Board, the Colorado Safe Communities~Safe Schools Committee, the Qwest Online Safety Classroom Committee, and the Colorado Parent Information Resource Center (CPIRC) Board, among others.

She has been married for 32 years to Clegg Williams. They have three children: Jason (25), Nicole (23), and Megan (19). She graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelors degree and from the University of Northern Colorado with a masters degree. She was a school teacher for 30 years.
