PTA Local Leader’s Calendar

Use this customizable calendar to identify and implement activities, events, and programs that will strengthen connections between families, the school, and the community in ways that support student learning.

The customizable PTA Local Leader’s Calendar is designed to help PTA leaders involve school communities in PTA and school activities. Already included on the calendar are PTA national events and other national celebrations, with links to resources to help you plan and execute local events. The Leader’s Notes offer planning tips and reminders, as well as suggestions for addressing particular issues.

To help you keep your leadership and volunteer teams informed, and to assist in planning efforts, each day of each calendar month contains a customizable field in which you can insert meetings, events, activities, deadlines, and other valuable information specific to your PTA and school. Each month’s calendar page can be printed out individually, duplicated, and distributed to help leaders and volunteers stay on track.

Please note: The calendar is in portable document format (PDF). You may need to download and install the latest version of Adobe Reader to view and print the calendar. Adobe Reader is free software available from Adobe. You can view, fill in, and print the calendar pages with the free version of the software. However, unless you have Adobe Acrobat, you will not be able to save the calendar with your information filled in. Adobe Reader will not allow you to save your changes. Collect all the information you will need before sitting down to customize the calendar. Before you enter any information, make sure you will be able to print the pages from the computer at which you are working.
