Welcome PTA Reflections Leaders

Thank you for your leadership in the 2024-2025 National PTA Reflections program! Begin by connecting with your State PTA to find the specific forms, deadlines and guidelines necessary for hosting a Reflections program. Then, use the resources and information on this webpage to start your PTA Reflections program and to inspire participation in your school community.

Register for the 2024-2025 Reflections Program

Let National PTA know you are participating in the Reflections through your PTA! Your registration helps National PTA show the reach and impact of the program.

Due to the large volume of registrants, you will not receive email confirmation.

After registering, use the map tool below to find your state PTA Reflections webpage for more details on how to participate. PTAs and student artists will participate in Reflections based on the guidelines, process and timelines outlined by their state PTA.

This year's theme is "Accepting Imperfection"

Special thanks and congratulations to Paige Opaska from Barbara Bush Middle School PTA in Texas who created this year's Reflections theme. Meet Paige and learn about her inspiration here.

Accepting Imperfection

In Reflections, interpretation of the theme is highly considered during the review process. To learn more about selection criteria in Reflections, visit our Reflections Awards webpage.

Reflections Leader Resources

As a multi-level program, individual PTAs and schools are welcome to host a Reflections program. However, artwork can only be advanced for further recognition according to the processes set by each state PTA. Use the map tool above to connect with your state PTA Reflections webpage and find more details on how artwork can advance to the next level.

The below resources are general materials provided by National PTA to support PTA units in hosting individual Reflections programs. To purchase additional promotional materials, awards and recognition supplies, visit ShopPTA.com

Grow Your PTA Family with Reflections

The Reflections program is a benefit available because of your PTA's efforts and commitment to expanding access to the arts. Use National PTA's YOU Belong in PTA materials to start conversations about your accomplishments in advancing arts education and invite others to join.

You know the good work that your PTA does to provide  Reflections and your community should know too! Here are a few ideas you can incorporate into your program efforts:

  • Create customized content flyers: Download and customize Reflections-specific membership flyers that you can customize and include with Reflections Student Entry Packets. Find resources and directions for customization.

  • Include a membership collection box in your celebrations: If your PTA is hosting a celebration event or exhibit for student artwork, provide membership forms and envelopes and a collection box to make joining easy.

  • Engage students in recruitment efforts: Have participating student artists run a membership table or speak during a PTA meeting/event to share how Reflections has benefits them as artists.

Reflections Student Entry Portal

The National PTA Reflections Student Entry Portal is currently closed. The Portal will reopen for the 2024-2025 "Accepting Imperfection" program later in the year.

The Reflections Student Entry Portal is a tool designed for state PTA’s to submit student entries to the national level. You should only submit entries in the Portal at the request of your State Reflections Chair. National PTA will only accept entries for review on the national level that have been advanced by the State Reflections Chair.

If you have questions, please connect with your state PTA.

Questions?

Questions?

Because Reflections is largely managed on the state level, you should first share questions with your State PTA Reflections Program or your State PTA to find state-specific Reflections information and support.

However, National PTA is here to support you. You can also email info@PTA.org.
